Labs Validation Services was founded on a simple principle: ventilation testing should be genuinely independent. Most testing companies also sell, install, or maintain the equipment they assess, which creates an obvious conflict of interest. We don’t. Our only product is an honest assessment of your system’s performance.
With 13 years of experience servicing and validating Ultra Clean Ventilation (UCV) systems, the team brings deep, hands-on expertise to every job. The founder holds an MSc in Building Services Engineering and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, and is AP(V) qualified as an Authorised Person for Ventilation, enabling work to the highest levels of clinical and industrial compliance.
Based in the North West, they cover the whole of the UK, working with NHS trusts, private healthcare providers, universities, pharmaceutical companies, and industrial facilities. Whether you need a one-off HTM 03-01 verification, an annual critical ventilation contract, or LEV testing across multiple sites, specialist focus and impartial reporting are offered reliably.

What qualifications do your engineers hold?
Our founder holds an MSc in Building Services Engineering, a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, and is AP(V) qualified (Authorised Person for Ventilation). All LEV testing is carried out to BOHS P601, P602, P603, and P604 standards. Additionally, AE Essentials certified.
What does “independent” actually mean?
It means we do not sell, install, or maintain ventilation equipment. We have no commercial relationship with any manufacturer or contractor. Our only revenue comes from testing and reporting, so we have no incentive to pass a failing system or recommend unnecessary work.
