What Is HTM 03-01 Part B Verification?
Part B verification is the annual check that confirms your critical ventilation system continues to perform as originally validated. It is a legal and operational requirement for all healthcare premises with critical ventilation, and must be carried out at intervals defined in your operational policy.
Unlike Part A (which validates new systems), Part B is ongoing: it confirms that performance has not deteriorated, that air change rates and pressures are maintained, and that the system remains safe for clinical use.
